Every Mavis by Herrera bag is handwoven in Mexico by skilled women artisans working from their homes. One bag takes approximately four to six days to complete, reflecting the time, skill, and care behind every piece.

Our bags are produced in small batches rather than mass-produced. Even the leather handles are finished by hand, with every stitch individually sewn by an artisan.

Through this work, women can earn income while remaining close to their families, helping them build greater financial independence. Each bag carries their craftsmanship, their time, and their story, making every piece naturally unique.

• Avoid soaking or applying water to the leather handles.
• Do not use bleach, alcohol, or harsh cleaning products.
• Keep away from open flames and direct sources of high heat. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or a hot car may temporarily soften the woven material.
• Avoid overfilling the bag with excessively heavy items.
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
