Return and Refund Policy
At Mavis by Herrera, every piece is handcrafted with care and purpose. We want you to love your purchase, but we also want to be transparent about how returns work for our small business.
Unlike Amazon or big retailers, we personally cover shipping costs, and because our handbags ship in protective boxes (not lightweight envelopes), the shipping expense is significant. Each return actually requires two shipments: one to you and one back to us. For this reason, a $20 to $25 return shipping fee is typically applied to help cover these costs. Please note: if a package exceeds 5 lbs. or requires a box larger than 12x14x6 in., the return shipping cost may be higher.
Here’s how it works:
- Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery in unused, original condition.
- A $20 to $25 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund to cover round-trip shipping (higher if package exceeds 5 lbs or oversized box).
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- After 14 days, returns are eligible for store credit only.
- If a returned item does not meet our requirements (used, damaged, or not in original condition), we will issue store credit instead of a refund.
- Refunds or credits are processed once your return is received and inspected.

International Shipping
At this moment we are not able to send prepaid return shipping labels, please use your own trackable and insured shipping method at your own expense. Extra duties fees will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds:
The refund time will depend on the payment method you used for your order.
PayPal refunds: 3 - 5 business days.
Credit card refunds: 7-14 business days.
Damaged items

Sale items or Discounts
Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Only regular price items can be refunded.
Sale items 30% off or higher are FINAL SALE.
SAMPLE SALE styles are always FINAL SALE—It’s a deal so if it doesn’t work, gift to a friend :)
